Officially Amazing!

Saturday 1st March 2014

It was time for it to all come together. I had been dreaming of this shot for years. I had my friends and family, my new drone, my Guinness World Record certificates professionally framed, cool little paper flags to wave and my top drone operator Andre on the case. It was time to take to the air… enjoy!!

Amazing eh? Huge thanks to André Ferreira for his mad piloting skills and Ste Webster for the editing and VFX awesomeness.

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the day:

Afterwards we all headed over to the Vernon Arms for lunch, which consisted of cupcakes! Lots and lots of cupcakes, courtesy of the always wonderful Laura Worthington.

Then it was off to the match! Everton vs. West Ham. 3pm kick off.

After 80 minutes it was still 0-0, getting impatient, I shouted “Come on, it’s me birthday!” A few seconds later Lukaku smashed it into the back of the net. Cue much cheering and people around me patting me on the back as if I had made all the difference, great stuff.

After the match, we headed back into town to see my buddies for my birthday meal at Lucha Libre a Mexican street food place off Bold Street.

And yes, believe it or not, they had scouse on the menu!

You’re welcome! 😂
